It refers to providing a place and opportunity to play with illegal betting or playing a game of chance at home and abroad. Those who play fixed-odds and joint betting or chance games based on sports competitions, or provide a place or opportunity to play, are punished with a prison sentence of three to five years and a judicial fine of up to ten thousand days.

The crime of allowing all kinds of bets or chance games played abroad to be played from Turkey

Persons who allow fixed-odds or joint betting or chance games based on sports competitions played abroad to be played from Turkey by providing access via the Internet and in other ways are punished with a prison sentence of four to six years.

The crime of mediating the transfer of money provided through illegal betting

Persons who mediate the transfer of money in connection with fixed-odds or joint betting based on sports competitions or games of chance are punished with imprisonment from three to five years and a judicial fine of up to five thousand days.

The crime of encouraging people to advertise and otherwise illegal betting

Those who encourage people to advertise and play fixed-odds or joint betting or chance games based on sports competitions, etc., are punished with a prison sentence of one to three years and a judicial fine of up to three thousand days.

The misdemeanor of illegal betting

Illegal betting has been designated as a misdemeanor, not a crime. Therefore, there is no judicial punishment for illegal betting. In accordance with the relevant law, those who play fixed-odds or joint betting or chance games based on sports competitions are punished with an administrative fine ranging from five thousand liras to twenty thousand liras by the largest local administrative authority.
